South River garage break-in results in theft of ATVs, cameras

SOUTH RIVER, N.L. —

Bay Roberts RCMP is asking for the public's help to solves the case of a recent garage break-in that happened in the Conception Bay North community of South River.

On Thursday, June 13, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Bay Roberts RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter in a detached garage at a residence in South River.

The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between June 10-13.  The suspect(s) gained entry to the garage and stole two ATVs, as well as two trail cameras from trees on the property. One of the ATVs has since been recovered, but was completely destroyed after having been set on fire.
