Two Conception Bay South men face multiple drug trafficking charges, weapons charges

Men found in possession of cocaine, morphine, LSD and oxycodone, police say

HOLYROOD, NL - Two men from Conception Bay South are released from custody pending a court appearance on multiple drug-related charges.

On Saturday, Dec. 29 at around 1 a.m. Holyrood RCMP conducted a traffic stop resulting in the arrest of the two men, aged 43 and 18.

Police say the men were in possession of 38 grams of cocaine, 100 mgs of morphine pills, 58 hits of LSD (acid), an oxycodone pill, a stun gun and a concealed weapon -- a knife that looked like a pen.

Both men face numerous drug trafficking charges and the 43-year-old man also faces additional weapons-related charges, including two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The men are set to appear in court at a later date.

Meanwhile, police are continuing their investigation.
